Trecastle Community

Trecastle Community Hall Committee

The newly decorated Trecastle Community Centre lays in the heart of the village and is used by many of the groups and organisations from the village, and in some cases outside the area. The committee holds regular meetings and organises many fundraising events aimed to help with the upkeep and general running of the hall. We have clean up sessions organised by the committee and the hall is freshly painted as required. The heating is regularly serviced and hirers can be reassured of a warm, cosy venue for their events during the winter and colder months.

The hall offers excellent facilities including a well-equipped kitchen which contains a hot water boiler, two newly installed electric ovens and a six ring ceramic hob system, fridge, microwave, kettle and cutlery/crockery.

The large main hall has an easy to clean wooden floor, a portable stage is available if required and stage lighting can be arranged. The hall has been recently fitted with brand new L.E.D. lighting throughout.

Wi-Fi is strong and available in the village hall and in the close proximity of the hall building. It is an amenity for all our children especially and others to have use of the unlimited access, even when the building is not in use. Wi-Fi access codes are displayed within the hall in several locations., and the use of an overhead projector can be applied for so that large screen events can be hosted.

The smaller committee room is perfect for group meetings and has its own sink and kettle, and is heated adequately.

The bright and clean toilets have a baby changing facility in the ladies, and a separate disabled toilet can be found off the main entrance.

Disabled access is obtained through the side entrance and ramps are in situ to provide easy access to the toilet.

Outside offers a flat tarmac area perfect for BBQs, and easy access provided by steps to the Trecastle playing field.

Parking for the hall is provided by a large layby opposite.

The hall is a perfect venue for any general purpose including arts/culture, children/youth groups, religious activities, funeral teas, business conferences and parties. Trecastle community centre is available to hire at very reasonable prices. To find out more please contact Mr Dave Howells on 01874 638290 or fill out the form below.
